2012 New Mercedes SLS Roadster Roof Fold

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster has been showing pictures of new models with models of soft-top roof. 6.2-liter V8 Supercar engine with 563 HP power will be exhibited at the Frankfurt Motor Show next September.

The biggest change appears on the door that no longer scissor (gullwing) because the roof supports the concept that can be folded (open-close) in 11 seconds. The car did not have to stop when the roof opened and closed. The process can take place when the car in the speed of 48 km per hour.

According to Mercedes, construction chassis is very light because of using aluminum. This has been a consideration since the early development of the car. Hence, its sides reinforced to improve the solidity and strength.

New Mercedes-Benz ML450 Hybrid

New Mercedes C63 AMG 2012

2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

2010 Mercedes E-Class

Following tons of spy shots (Mercedes E-Class variants spied in Germany, '09 Mercedes E-Class sheds disguise, Mercedes E-Class coupe exposed in the snow, Mercedes E-Class AMG sedan spied on the Nurburgring, Next generation Mercedes E-Class spied and Mercedes CLK Coupé spied in Stuttgart), Mercedes accidently posted official images of the new 2010 E-Class sedan on the German Merc website.

Based upon the Mercedes ConceptFascination, the new E-Class has grown in size (4950mm), length and width for more comfort and interior space. Safety has been a paramount consideration of course and we see that in the new impact absorbing bonnet that pops up 5cm to lessen injury to cyclists or pedestrians in a low speed collision. There's also a system that recognises potential collisions and warns through the driver's pedal that it's time to brake. In addition, top-spec UK models will receive LED day-time running lights.

Existing technologies for Mercedes like Night Vision are to be found, and new ones such as blind spot and lane departure warning. New generation diesels E200 CDI, E220 CDI and E250 CDI give the frugal potential owners plenty of choice while the E300 CDI and E350 BlueTec come into play higher up. We know there are petrol variants too including the formidable E-Class AMG which should produce around 600bhp.

The debut of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is happening at the 2009 Geneva International motorshow along with the E-Class Coupe. The E-Class Cabriolet will appear at the 2009 Frankfurt later.

Mercedes Benz CL63 AMG

The CL63 AMG, the lesser of two powerful large AMG-tuned Mercedes-Benz coupes, sits somewhere between excessive and grandiose on the scale of high-end cars. With 518 horsepower on tap at 6800 rpm, the nearly 4,500 pound two-door Mercedes-Benz is hardly sluggish, despite tipping the scales at about double what a subcompact weights. 465 pound-feet of torque from the 6.2 liter V8 and a 7-speed automatic transmission help ensure that the CL63 has ample power in any situation.

New for 2008, the CL63 upgrades the basic CL-Class, introduced for 2007, with the standard range of AMG tuned sporting cues, including a lowered sport suspension with active body control, a unique look inside and out, 20' wheels (versus 18' wheels otherwise), performance tires and a few additional standard features, like ventilated and massaging front seats.
