Bugatti 57SC Atlantic's most expensive classic cars







Re-created a new record of one of the rarest classic cars in the world, the 1936 Bugatti 57SC Atlantic output. In the auction held by Gooding & Company is able to penetrate the USD 250 million. However, the buyer's identity a secret.

Bugatti 57SC so special because it produced only four units in the world and certainly even fewer could survive. Two units are owned by designer Ralph Lauren's world and the late Dr. Peter Williamson. So, stay there two more units in the world.

Atlantic developed from a prototype Bugatti Aerolithe Electron Coupe owned that could make the automotive world click amazed at the Paris Auto Salon event in 1935. Italian car manufacturer then produces three units of the Atlantic with different characteristics between one and another. However, the existing model is the first version was produced in 1936 so it has great historical value.
